Luke's is nothing if not friendly. And their ribs ARE pretty darned good. This is a nice little rural pub in which to have some BBQ for lunch while washing it down with a beer.

As one enters the diner, there are stairs ahead leading down to the downstairs pub. These neon signs point the way.
On the northwest corner of Highway 292 and Cedar Street, they're in the old section of Loon Lake, which is separated by Highway 292 from the somewhat newer, residential section. Loon Lake is a pretty small town, with few pubs or eateries, so this one is definitely recommended.
They have a small diner upstairs and a bar downstairs, but watch out for the help. They'll talk your ear off, if they can. It's actually quite an enjoyable place to relax and quaff a few while shooting a few games of pool. We've not been there at night, so can't comment on how busy the place can get, but it's nice and peaceful in the afternoon.
One may order ribs, burgers or whatever from the diner upstairs and eat in the bar. Minors are allowed in until 9 PM.
