This table shows an empty bowl and a plate with fish, local plaice. There is a legend about, that in 1532 king Christian II was a prisoner at the castle nearby for seventeen years. During that time, the legend, says, the king did not want to eat or drink and instead he wandered around, dragging his thumb around the table.
This legend originates from seventeenth century. In reality the conditions for the former king Christian were much better, he was even allowed to leave the castle for hunting.
