This small band shell is centered in Chewelah's City Park which borders the east side of Highway 395 toward the north end of town.

This simply styled, truss roofed band shell is one of the many facilities in City Park. It has a reasonably sized stage, built on a concrete base, and bleacher seating in front for approximately 200 concert goers. There's plenty of room beside and behind the bleachers for overflow seating.
Actually older than it appears, there is a plaque on the back wall of the bandshell stating that it was dedicated on July 14, 1984, making it 30 years old this year.
