The Funeral Chapel is to the west, beside the old IOOF Hall, a National Historic Place. Atop a 25 to 30 foot tower on the roof of the funeral chapel is an electronic siren, with an array of speakers, all pointing outward around the perimeter of the siren. Not near the fire hall, it's not known what the specific purpose of the siren is, nor how long it has been up there.
Coordinates are on the sidewalk across the street, affording the best view of the siren.
