The Hugh Keenleyside Dam and the Arrow Lakes Generating Station can be seen from a pullout on Broadwater Road which is just west of the dam. At the pullout are several informational signs.

One of the set of signs is a "You Are Here" Map, telling one that they are actually at the pullout overlooking the Hugh Keenleyside Dam and the Arrow Lakes Generating Station. It contains a map of the immediate area around the dam and generating station.
The signs deal with the history of the Columbia River Treaty, the dam and land reclamation of the site after the construction of the dam and later the generating station. The pullout and viewpoint are about 700 metres west of the generating station and 250 metres west of the dam itself.
