The Deane Center opened in March 2012 after extensive renovation to the former rundown furniture it is in now, and houses one large theater and three smaller ones for smaller venues. The Black Box Theater, which is the largest, has a spring board floor, and state of the art lights and sound. The Warehouse theater, which is just around the corner, houses smaller performances and has a open lobby. The Deane Center also has rooms available to rent for a variety of events. Large rooms for receptions, smaller ones for meetings, and two store fronts are also rented out. The Preservation PA Community Initiative Award was given to the Deane Center in 2012 for the beautiful renovations to the establishment to return in to its original look.
