the Fashion Square Building is an 11-story commercial warehouse/loft building constructed in 1926. Fashion Square was once known as the “Aristocrat.” It was designed in 20th –century gothic style by New York Architect David R. Harrison. The building for years showcased clothing and hats in the vibrant garment district. It was considered a very modern building for its time. Except for the first floor the building had been vacant for many years. The building is undergoing a renovation converting the upper floors to loft apartments.
