This two-story red brick building was constructed in 1911 after receipt of $20,000 in funding from Andrew Carnegie. Architecturally, it is an example of the Prairie Style and was designed by the firm of Claude & Starck of Madison, Wisconsin. The building continues to serve as the Hoquiam branch of the Timberland Regional Library System.
