There seem to be town clocks everywhere you look in Stratford, this one is on the office building of The Minories shopping arcade between Meer Street and Hanley Street. The shopping arcade was opened on 29th September 1986 by the then Mayor of Stratford upon Avon, Councillor L.V.Rouch, and was given the Stratford upon Avon Society's 'S' award in 1987. It consists of several small outlets ranging between, But not only, letting and estate agents, banks, shoe and clothing shops, and kitchen and furniture shops.
The arcade runs from an entrance on Meer Street in a north-easterly direction towards Henley Street. Mid-way along this, at the given co-ordinates is the four-faced clock on a pyramidal roofed, square office block. It's painted the usual black with a single outer ring, hour and minute marks, Roman numerals, and hands all painted gold. Atop the clock housing is a small pyramid roof with an arrow wind-vane finial.
The entrance to The Minories is on Meer Street at N 52° 11.589 W 001° 42.552.
