This 10,000 square-foot, 20-room Victorian mansion was built in 1897 for lumber baron Robert Lytle. Mr. Lytle's fortune was a result of his electric sawmill, the first of it's kind on the west coast. The Lytle family lived here until moving to Portland in 1910; as a wedding present, they gifted the house to their niece, who lived here until the 1950s. For many years, the house was abandoned, but in 1968 it was purchased and restored by the Watson family. Today the house is a bed & breakfast.
