The Holliday-Schaefer House was built circa 1868 with an addition circa 1896. The three-story brick house is in a Late Victorian style. The house features circular corner tower and a large two story front bay with windows. The house has a complex roof with a combination of styles.

The house was built for John Holliday who was a partner in the Armstrong, Holliday & Company which operated the Keystone Planing Mill. The addition was added by Edward Schaefer, who was a partner in F.C.
Driehorst, a wholesale firm which marketed wines and liquors.

The house appears to be in fair to good condition and continues to serve as a private residence.
