The First non-Roman Church service to be held in what is now Bismarck was the baptism of a son of Lt. Humbert of Camp Hancock by the Rev. J. Swift, an Episcopalian Missionary.

This marked the beginning of Episcopalian services in the area.

Dedicated May 8, 1960

The Rt. Rev. R. R. Emery
