Le S.M.E.P.D.E.P. de la Vallée de la Courance, qui détient la compétence « production d’eau potable » gère, avec le concours de l’exploitant SAUR, l’ensemble de ces installations de production. Il alimente, par pompage, le Syndicat d’Eau des Sources du Perrault, lequel assure, également avec l’appui de la SAUR, la distribution sur les communes de GRANZAY-GRIPT et SAINT-SYMPHORIEN. L’eau provenant des installations d’EPANNES est stockée dans le château d’eau de GRIPT (350 m³) et assure l’alimentation de la commune de GRANZAY-GRIPT (et de celle de SAINT-SYMPHORIEN).
