The historic Eureka Inn at 518 7th Street in Eureka, California occupies an entire city block. The 150-room Eureka Inn is a rambling three story Tudor revival style structure of redwood. Stuccoed walls, steep roofs, gables, multi-paned casements and large chimneys identify this style which is adapted from the 16th century English country house. The original Inn was completed the fall of 1922 and was an immediate success and a 50 room addition was completed in 1925 and a new kitchen and coffee shop soon followed.
