Built between 1844 and 1851, the old Road des Grands Goulets was closed for dangerosity when the new road was built in 2008.

The Gorge de la Bourne, the Grand Goulets and the Combe Laval are among the most impressive roads in France. We drove on the new road des Grands Goulets and it deserves its name of "vertigo road".
