This sculpture is located at the Mission San Luis Rey.

This unusual depiction of St. Francis has him sitting on a bench, wearing his usual friar's robes...and waving to the viewer with a smile. A small rabbit is at his feet. St. Francis... friend to animals is usually depicted with a bird or two.
