The chapel was donated by the shooters guild of Vessem in gratitude for the support to their OLS 2005 (Oud Limburgs Schuttersfeest or Traditional Limburg shooting event*).
The interior is made of yellow brick masonry. The choir is protected by a beautiful wrought iron railing. In the choir on the left and right there are stained-glass windows made ??with images of St. George and St. respectively Mary. At and above the altar there are statuea of Mary and St-George with the dragon.
