This ~70 metre suspension bridge crosses the Waiau River and is particularly known for a few things: it's the start (or end) of the Kepler Track (one of NZ's Great Walks), it's the location of a Lord of the Rings scene and it's a great place to fish.

It has a maximum load of 10 persons.

The accompanying plaque reads:
New Zealand Electricity has provided this bridge as an amenity to enhance the enjoyment of the park. Designed and built by the Ministry of Works and Development as part of the Manapouri Power Project. The bridge was formally presented to the Fiordland National Park Board on Saturday 11 September 1976.
