"Charly's Bakery has gained public attention as the setting of the Food Network television series, Charly's Cake Angels. It has been located at both Thibault Square and the V&A Waterfront, before moving to the current premises - an old Jewish bookstore on the fringe of former District Six. The characteristic pink and white exterior of the Charly's building, as well as the unique cakes made here, have become symbolic of the Cape Town food scene." (visit link)

We passed by Charly's Bakery after visiting the nearby Castle of Good Hope. The bakery's external decoration certainly catches the eye.
