Located inside Dunedin's spectacular Railway Station, the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame showcased the country's greatest sports performers, their most memorable moments and the trophies and the tools of their trades.
Amongst many others, the Hall of Fame brings to life Sir Edmund Hillary's ascent of Everest, Yvette Williams' long jumps, Sir Bob Charles' putts, and the cricket batting exploits of Bert Sutcliffe and Martin Donnelly.
On display is an Olympic gold winning kayak, an armguard that Colin Meads wore when he played a test with a broken arm, and memorabilia accumulated by generations of All Blacks from the Originals of 1905 until the World Cup winners of 1987.
Hours of Operation: Open daily from 10am to 4pm throughout the year except when closed for Good Friday and Christmas Day.
