The Church of Pont-du-Chateau is one of the few churches dedicated to St. Martine, Roman virgin and martyr, who lived in the third century. Located in the suburb of sailors, it was dedicated to the boatmen.
The Romanesque part of the church is arkose, the Gothic part Volvic stone.
L'église de Pont-du-Château est l'une des peu nombreuses églises dédiées à sainte Martine, vierge et martyre romaine, qui a vécu au IIIe siècle. Située dans le faubourg des mariniers, elle était dédiée aux bateliers.
La partie romane de l’église est en arkose, la partie gothique en pierre de Volvic.
