Visitors to the
Modoc National Wildlife Refuge headquarters building will notice two sets of pawprints embedded in a concrete sidewalk that lead to the front entrance. One set looks somewhat like dog prints (I'm sure they're not), the other set looks like maybe they are badger prints. I'm assuming these prints were intentionally made to amuse the visitor and probably incite questions as to their origin when they are visiting the headquarters. I'm also assuming these prints are from animals native to this area and help to give the visitor center here a little 'character'.
