Ethy Woods are an area of deciduous woodland north of Lerryn Creek, part of the estuary of the Fowey River. The National Trust acquired 378 acres of the Ethy estate in 1959, though Ethy House remains in private ownership. Parking is available in the centre of Lerryn village & access to the woods is along a lane on the north side of the creek. It is possible to follow the riverside path to St Winnow church, a walk of about two miles.
