Lac de Capitello is located in the upper part of Restonica valley (altitude 1 930 m) above Lac di Melo, about 11 km from the town Corte. Lake is located circa 3 hrs of walk and hiking from parkings in lower part of Restonica valley. Lac de Capitello is a glacial lake, deepest in Corsica, frozen 8 months of year.
