Das Buergerspital Weingut in Würzburg ist ein modernes, der Qualität und Tradition verpflichtetes, fast 700 Jahre altes Spitzenweingut in Franken.

Auf 120 Hektar Rebfläche werden in erster Linie die klassischen Rebsorten der Region, Riesling, Silvaner und Burgunder angebaut. Bekannt ist das Bürgerspital nicht nur durch die renommierten Würzburger Weinlagen Stein, Stein-Harfe, Innere Leiste, Abtsleite und Pfaffenberg, sondern auch als das Geburtshaus des Bocksbeutels, dem fränkischen Flaschenoriginal.

Das Weingut selbst ist Teil der Stiftung Bürgerspital, deren ursprünglicher Stiftungszweck, die Aufnahme von pflegebedürftigen Menschen, bis heute fortgeführt wird. Mit jeder verkauften Flasche Wein wird das soziale Engagement der Stiftung unterstützt und gefördert.

The Civil Hospital is a modern winery in Würzburg, quality and tradition verpflichtetes, nearly 700 year old winery peak in Franconia.
