Snyder's white Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Depot was built in 1911, It is a wonderful example of Mission Style architecture, though now neglected.

It only makes sense that the "Land of the White Buffalo" should have a white train depot.
Snyder's old passenger depot is a beauty made of glazed terra-cotta tile, beautiful inlays, and cool Mission details. The curved metal accents are one of the most interesting features on this depot, since we have never seen them anywhere else on a building of this style.
It is boarded up and slowly decaying. So sad.
