The Canadian Theater was once known as Brown Opera House. Very little could be found about its history, but it appears to have been converted from the opera house to The Canadian movie theater in 1945. It operated as such until some time in the 1970s. It is listed as having one screen and 600 seats.
This is a two-story building with a stucco exterior. The facade has three projected columns rounded at the top and extending above the roof line. On either side of these columns are five projected squares. The paint scheme is red and white.
The marquee is triangular with letters reading "Canadian" on the two exposed sides of the triangle. A large "C" is shown on the rounded center design. The entrance is centered with two separated doors and sidelights. This entrance area is slightly recessed. There are three small windows on each side of the entrance.
The theater is currently occupied as T's Antique Mall.
