One entrance to the caboose is for the men's washroom, the other is for ladies. It's the right-size to service the needs of this small campground in Hythe, Alberta.

This caboose was part of the Northern Alberta Railroad, but is found at the community campground in Hythe, Alberta.

Incorporated in 1929 under the joint ownership of the Canadian National and the Canadian Pacific Railway Companies, the Northern Alberta Railway was the result of the amalgamation of 4 marginal railways in the northern part of the Province of Alberta in Western Canada.

The N.A.R. carried fuel, food, building supplies, vehicles and of course people up into the North and oil, coal, lumber, grain, ore, fish, cattle and of course people, down South to civilization.
Current Use:
It is a restroom for men and women
