Of more recent vintage than its partner adjacent, this plow was large enough that it was likely tractor drawn, not horse drawn. It shows many advancements over the other, mainly operator comfort, as the operator is now able to sit upon and ride the plow. Unfortunately, this made plowing a two man operation as one drove the tractor while the other operated the plow.

The later advent of onboard hydraulics or self-tripping mechanisms obviated the need for the plow operator. Another addition was the colter, a vertical disc which cut the soil in advance of the plow share, enabling the share to get into the ground more easily. Manufacturer is unknown.

It is one of the many pieces of agricultural machinery on display at the Museum. Though there is a $5.00 charge to view the main building's displays, the outdoor displays are free to view and available all year. The museum building is closed from October through April.
