The Chapel of Peace (DE: Friedenskapelle Malbun) was built on Alp Malbun in 1951 as a sign of gratitude that the country had been spared from war.
Malbun is an alp belonging to the municipal district of Triesenberg. Behind a high mountain ridge, at an altitude of 1600 metres lies an attractive still untouched natural world as well as a ski region. The municipal district of Triesenberg was first settled by the Walsers in the 13th century.
