I recovered this U.S. Geological Survey benchmark from 1933 in good condition. It is an unstamped mark and monumented on a boulder flush with the ground. The NGS datasheet description is very adequate for station recovery with the only exception being that the 1933 description is wrong, there is no stamping on the disk. The mark has the designation of '5839' which is the elevation of this mark and noted on a topography map.
