Castle Fields were given to the National Trust in 1990. It is simply a 1.8 acre area of grassland located alongside Hanson Drive. Preservation by the Trust ensures the survival of views from the public road & footpath.
Castle Fields are not normally open to the public, except during Fowey Regatta Week (Mid.August), when the fields make a great spot to watch Fowey`s yearly Red Arrows display!
There are several benches along the footpath where you can sit and take in the views. This section of road has double yellow lines along it, but there are two car parks nearby, both well signposted.
