This U.S. General Land Office Survey cap from 1916 was recovered in good condition. This border monument divides Oregon and California and is located along the 42° Latitude. The cap contains the designation stamping of '109M', '42L', 'OREGON', 'CALIFORNIA' and '16' (for 1916) on the cap face.

To reach this border monument, you'll need to park just off Ager Beswick Rd and walk about 125 feet to the NW to monument location. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this monument. *CAUTION* the terrain to get to this monument is very steep and not recommended in inclimate weather.
