This is a pretty common style of tree trunk style headstone. The tree trunk sits on four stacked logs. The Woodman Seal is at the top of the trunk in the fork of two branches. The inscription plaque is "cut" into the middle of the trunk. It reads:
John B. Parish
Born Dec. 29, 1863
Died July 13, 1902
Carved lilies appear at the base of headstone in front of the stacked logs.
