Crammel Linn is a spectacular waterfall in a deep gorge. There is a half-mile approach over moorland with a rough path before you can scramble down into the gorge.

This is a beautiful site, which does not receive the numbers of visitors you might expect from such an impressive and atmospheric place. Care is needed if hiking in the area is intended as it is on the edge of an RAF bombing range which I have seen used - but that was about 10 years ago. There is a military base nearby, so watch out for the road signs and the red flags
