From the Sheriff's Department web site:

The Borrego Springs Office was established in 1967 and serves an unincorporated area encompassing approximately 550 square miles, including the Ocotillo Wells State Recreation Vehicular Area and Anza-Borrego State Park.

Primarily desert, Borrego Springs has a varying elevation from near sea level to as high as 6,600 feet. The Ocotillo Wells State Recreation Vehicular Area is a popular off-highway vehicle park for dune-buggy, ATV, motorcycle and four-wheel drive enthusiasts. The Anza-Borrego State Park attracts thousands of visitors each year for hiking, photography and sightseeing. From October to May, between 50,000 to 150,000 off-road visitors and campers visit Borrego Springs. During the off-road season, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department provides contract law enforcement services to California State Parks.

Initially, the Borrego Springs Office served as a satellite office for the Julian Substation. In 1993, the Ranchita/Warner Springs Substation took command of the office. In 2008, the office was moved to accommodate future growth with space for allied law enforcement agencies including the California Highway Patrol (CHP), California State Parks and Bureau of Land Management.

Type: Satellite Office

Visit Instructions:
To log a visit, you must post a photo of you in front of the building described, with your GPS in the photo. No drive by photos.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
