This beacon is the highest point in Mpumalanga Province. The mountain is unimaginatively called "Die Berg"

Park at S25°14.295 E030°08.250 near the gate, and walk about 4.3 kms (one way) along the road to the beacon. The gradients are easy except for the last few hundred metres which is a bit of an uphill slog.
You'll be walking along a narrow tarred road to within 100m of the beacon. Vehicle access is not permitted, but hikers are permitted to walk to the beacon.
Visit Instructions:We don't require you to provide any specific proof of your visit, but we do request that you upload photos if possible, the more the merrier.
Ideally, you should try to take photos at the actual beacon location, but if that isn't possible (private property, terrain, etc), then photos taken from a distance are also welcome, especially if the beacon is visible in the photo.
