This tree ring growth display is in a heritage building in Ball's Falls Conservation Area, near Jordan, Ontario. The tree existed outside the Ball family home from 1841-1976. The tree has markers for specific years including Confederation, the Lincoln Assassination, and World War II.
Many of the heritage buildings are closed during winter months so please check the website for availability. Also note there is a cost to driving into Ball's Falls but you can enter for free via the Bruce Trail.
