A terraced area of Queen's Park in Bridgetown is known as the Lady Gilbert Carter Gardens is a terraced area with steps joining the upper and lower levels. To celebrate its 100th anniversary the Rotary Club of Barbados restored the area, including the masonry, stairs and lion sculptures.

A marble plaque placed near the top of the upper level contains the Rotary International emblem and the following inscription:

"Lady Gilbert Carter Gardens"

Restored by the Rotary Clubs of Barbados
In commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Rotary
