« En 1672, François Fortin, premier propriétaire de la concession, inaugure une longue chaîne de titres. En 1674, il unit sa destinée à Louyse Sommillard, nièce de Marguerite Bourgeois. En 1727, la concession est divisée puis rétablie en 1757 par Jean-Baptiste Archambault. En 1765, Joseph Christin dit Saint-Amour l’acquiert. En 1784, il en cède la propriété à son fils Joseph (Marie) Christin. Ce dernier y fait construire une maison de pierre, d’où le nom de maison Christin-dit-Saint-Amour. En 1816, ce notable donne la terre à son fils François Chridtin dit Saint-Amour. En 1852, François Armand dit Flamme se porte acquéreur de la maison. Grand propriétaire terrien, ancien lieutenant-colonel de la milice, françois Armand la transmet à son fils Joseoh-Flavien. Ce dernier, conseiller législatif puis sénateur, la laisse ensuite à ses petits-enfants nés du mariage entre sa fille Margurite et Charles-Honoré Catelle, <>. L’ère des Armand prend fin en 1949 par la vente de la terre à Ernest Roy. Plusieurs transactions suivent jusqu’à ce que Jean-Guy Harvey réussisse à obtenir le classement du terrain et du bâtiment en 1974. Entre 1975 et 1977, le couple Gélinas devient propriétaire et en réalise une restauration exemplaire. Depuis lors, les propriétaires actuels s’emploient à poursuivre l’œuvre.
