A 4' high by 2' wide granite tablet rests on a 4' by 2' by 1' granite base. The tablet is incised with the circular seal of the United States of America. Below the eagle and shield is the following inscription:

MEN AND WOMEN OF GREAT BARRINGTON
WHO, IN DEFENSE OF THEIR COUNTRY AND THE

AND DISTINCTION IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
WORLD WAR I, WORLD WAR II, KOREAN, VIETNAM
