Located in Charlestown Veterans Memorial Park, this Memorial is very simple. One brick pillar has a plaque that reads
"KOREA
1950-1955"
while a second one reads:
"VIETNAM
1964-1975"
and a walkway leading to an arched wall with a plaque that reads:
"CHARLETOWN
VETERANS
MEMORIAL
PARK
Dedicated in Honor of
The Men and Women of Charlestown,
who served in
the United States Armed Forces
during
the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
IN MEMORY OF THOSE
WHO MADE THE
SUPREME SACRIFICE"
Note that the State of Massachusetts' Korean War Memorial is also located in Charlestown, not too far from here.
