At 302 South 5th Street, in a quiet residential area, is Fire Station #2 of the Yukon Fire Department. At the southwest corner of this intersection, a bronze longhorn steer sculpture stands. This was one of the Yukon Centennial dedications celebrating Yukon's 100th anniversary (1991) and was dedicated in October, 2007.

A granite stone is engraved:
