The webcam is at the junction where Highways 93 and 95 part ways, with 95 continuing north toward the Trans Canada Highway, to join it at Golden, and 93 heading east to join the Trans Canada in Alberta. It is mounted on the final light standard south of the intersection on the west side of Highways 93/95, looking northeast up both highways.
Radium Hot Springs is one of several hot springs in the Columbia Valley and is a very popular tourist destination year round. This is another place where one can often see Rocky Mountain Sheep within the town, eating the flowers and shrubbery. Radium has all the touristy things one would expect, such as golf, swimming, skiing, fishing, hiking, mountaineering, white water rafting, canoeing and bird-watching.
