Dès le Xème siècle, une charte mentionne l'existence d'une église sous le vocable de Saint-Georges.
En 1306, elle fait partie du chapitre de Saint-Pierre d'Angers dont le vocable remplace celui de Saint-Georges.
Le clocher et la base des murs appartiennent à l'église primitive du XIème siècle.
Le choeur est reconstruit au XIIIème siècle. Quant à la chapelle sud qui comporte une baie à arc brisé de style gothique flamboyant, elle date de la fin du XVIème siècle.
L'église Saint-Pierre fait partie du circuit "Églises accueillantes" dont le but est de faire connaître le patrimoine religieux remarquable de la région.
As early as the tenth century, a charter mentions the existence of a church dedicated to St. George.
In 1306, it is part of the chapter of Saint-Pierre d'Angers whose name replaces that of Saint-Georges.
The tower and the base of the walls belong to the primitive church of the eleventh century.
The chancel was rebuilt in the thirteenth century. As for the south chapel which has a bay with a late Gothic broken arch, it dates from the late sixteenth century.
