The story was reported on the Orland Press Register website. It was about an equestrian statue that was commissioned by the Orland Arts Commission and funded by donations from the community and surrounding area.

The bronze sculpture is titled Sagebrush and Silence and is by sculptor Carl Ciliax of Napa. It is the first piece of public sculpture placed in Orland.
