This church was founded in 1851, the "mother" church of this church was Femme Osage United Church of Christ which at that time was called Deatsche Evangelische Kirchegemeinde. The current church building was built in 1939. The church holds service only the the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 10:00 am.

(Ed Note: Church was built in 1868 (see cornerstone) Plus original name of the church was Broshfork Evangelical Church, and then in 1856 called Bethany Evangelical Church.)
