La Plaza Park is located at Old Redwood Highway & W Sierra Avenue. In the front corner of this park is a statue of accordionist, Jim Boggio.

Jim co-created the Cotati Accordion Festival. At the time of his death, in 1996, Keyboard magazine described him as one of the three best accordion players in the United States.
