This building has had many owners and many uses over its long life span. It has been a theater theater since 1940 with short time as a bowling alley and a period when it was vacant. Current theater use dates from 1961. From the Theater web site:

1940 After a fire on 4/25/40, Rostvold and Sandvik exchanged buildings
1940 Jem Theatre – Milford Rostvold
1943 Rostvold sold the theatre to A.J. Treamann
