This Victorian house really stands out in the tiny farming community of Perrydale, Oregon. It is located next to the Valley Baptist church on the Amity-Dallas Road, just south of the intersection with Bethel Road. The historic photo, dating from either 1958 or 1962, is from the Salem Public Library Historic Photograph Collections, Salem Public Library, Salem, Oregon. Clearly a major degree of restoration work has been completed in recent years as the house is in excellent shape, with Victorian details restored.

I was standing at the gate to the driveway, facing west, to take my photo. This made the angle slightly different from the original photo but allowed for the best view as I could take my photograph between the bars of the gate.
